Unlike most other charities, everyone connected with or "employed" by The Ability Charity is a volunteer. None of our staff or directors receive wages. We are a new charity and not yet a "registered" charity because under current charity laws in order to be "registered" a charity must have an annual income of more than ten thousand pounds. We are not yet big enough to be in that category.
AIMS As well as showing films in hospitals and hospices we also plan to to provide a free transportation service to immediate family members to and from the hospital/hospices. If you have a car and are interested in providing this service why not volunteer?
